Johnny-Michel Knudsen, also known as JM Knudsen or “Kanute”, is an American multi-faceted visual artist, entrepreneur, street artist, muralist, designer, photographer and art/event curator/marketer.

Kanute creates and primarily resides in California, USA but is an international artist with multiple works of public art, created in London, England, Paris, France, Barcelona, Spain, and Ericiera, Portugal.

In addition to public art overseas, Kanute has had 2 gallery exhibitions of his work in Paris, FR (2021/2024), Barcelona, ES (2024), and Ericiera, PT (2017)
